GEOSIGHT were delighted when they were approached by Wessex Archaeology to assist with a hydrographic survey off the South coast of England. Wessex Archaeology required hydrographic surveyors to help support their team of geophysicists in order to map the site and remaining surrounding area.
GEOSIGHT had the challenge of mounting the survey equipment on a chartered vessel without any permanent fixtures, with the solution being framework to allow for a full dimensional control without installing the equipment to the vessel.
After processing the data, GEOSIGHT identified several potential sites of interest and worked tirelessly with Wessex Archaeology to complete the project.
