GEOSIGHT are proud to have hosted their first work experience day, in keeping with their commitment to helping and developing young people’s professional skills and abilities.
The opportunity arose from a proactive trip to Goldolphin School in Salisbury for a Bright Futures Careers Event where GEOSIGHT spoke to students about surveying, including the many varied and diverse opportunities within the industry.
On the work experience day GEOSIGHT ran a structured program covering all aspects of surveying the company currently offers, including practical experience using a Total Station 16 and Leica BLK 360 laser scanner. In order to paint the whole picture we then covered the processing aspect of the surveying, with the point cloud data from the BLK of particular interest.
