About The Role:

The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning and execution of hydrographic survey projects. Duties will include planning, design, execution and monitoring every aspect of several concurrent projects. We are looking for a motivated and proactive problem solver, capable of maintaining energy in the team, working with passion, commitment and ownership, proud to deliver great service to our clients.

Specific Duties

  • Meeting with clients and liaison to identify and confirm project requirements, delivery timelines and costs
  • Developing detailed project plans from outset to handover, guiding clients and the project teams and revising these based on changing needs and requirements as they occur over the project lifetime
  • Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets, experience and strengths of team members
  • Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery within budget
  • Compiling and submitting project status reports to clients, management, and other stakeholders
  • Working effectively with relevant stakeholders for efficient project implementation
  • Developing excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders
  • Training of junior team members

Requirements

  • Competence in all hydrographic surveying procedures, instrumentation, and software
  • Knowledgeable on all aspects of a project lifecycle
  • Experience in project planning, finances, management, delegation, and risk mitigation
  • Excellent communicator at all levels both internally within all ranks of the team and externally to all stakeholders in hydrographic survey work.
  • Methodical approach with excellent task prioritization
  • Excellent communication skills with the whole project team and stakeholders
  • Ability to integrate into a diverse and energetic team
