Our Month of Travel

We have been busy exploring via land, sea and air the past 30 days . From driving hundreds of kilometres of European motorway, jet setting out of Heathrow airport and travelling across the channel to hydrographic survey sites, we have seen a lot.

Showing our ever present flexibility and never say never approach to work, the GEOSIGHT team have been busy living the life of a travel influencer, albeit minus the relaxation and 5* hotels as we continue to service the marine industry across the continent.

A return to Deme Orion was first up on the travel list, as a team of two Dimensional Control Surveyors took on the mammoth drive from our Hampshire headquarters to the heart of Hamburg, where we were reunited with the 216m long Orion in dry dock – Definitely worth all the paperwork.

Meanwhile, back in the UK, a team of Hydrographic Surveyors were busy running MBES survey up in Newcastle, collecting pre, interim and post dredge survey data in our manufactured Rib.

As if that wasn’t enough, the call for Dimensional Control beckoned once more, as we serviced two further vessels in Denmark, however, being afforded the luxury of flying made the trip much more manageable this time around.

Lastly, and by not least, we have had a member of staff out working near the French coast, assisting in mobilisation and personnel support for hydrographic survey services for Manor Renewable Energy.
