GEOSIGHT is a UK based multi-disciplinary geospatial survey company. Due to continued growth and development of our Hydrographic survey offering, we are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced hydrographic surveyor to be based from our office on the Hampshire/Wiltshire Border, and which has easy access to the nearby towns of Salisbury, Romsey, Southampton, Winchester and Andover.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have completed a recognised degree in hydrography which is accredited to IHO Category A, or who have, or are working towards individual accreditation via the Hydrographic Professional Accreditation Scheme. You will have at least 4+ years’ experience in conducting both hydrographic and geophysical surveys and have a desire to build on this experience with a growing company who will support them in their professional development. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to travel away from home for short periods of time and can take a technical lead on vessel mobilisation and data capture, data processing and reporting. Being part of a small company means this role will also involve office based activities including project management, client liaison, business development and supporting the operations manager with the general running and delivery of all hydrographic survey services.
