Joining GEOSIGHT in early 2019 and now with two years professional experience, Sam has quickly and competently developed knowledge of surveying principles and methodology both in land and marine survey projects.
Commencing the third year of his employment, Sam is looking forward to expanding and further consolidating his knowledge with the support and guidance of senior surveyors in the team alongside working towards his professional qualifications as a surveyor- benefitting both GEOSIGHT’s growth as well as his own professional development.
In the short time Sam has been with GEOSIGHT, he has gained his RYA Level 2 Powerboat licence and Commercialised Skipper Endorsement, meaning he can operate both GEOSIGHT’s 8m vessel Taran and 6m vessel Bella in support of hydrographic survey projects.
Previously of a sporting background, Sam has transitioned seamlessly and efficiently into his role as a Land & Hydrographic Surveyor, counting on his ability to learn and understand new skills quickly, as he now looks to assist new recruits in the early stages of their surveyor career. On top of this, Sam has developed new skills of social media and website management.
